He made two points as part of his explanation that he contradicted with his very presence. First of all, "everybody" cannot be dead, because he is alive. Second of all, he said that no customers will ever come to the planetarium again, but this clearly is not the case, for Mr. Customer came to the planetarium.

As such, his entire explanation was rendered incomprehensible!
